I love stories about angels. People send me their stories all the time and they touch me so much. I never tire of hearing stories of self-healing and Angel visitations. Here is one that really touched my heart this week.

Both my sister & I were playing outside our newly constructed home. It was spring time – all kinds of water & mud a delightful combination for a three & four year old. It was a sunny morning & the mud seemed to sparkle all around us. There was a hole dug behind the house which had filled up with water. I was drawn to this hole for some reason & got too close. My foot slipped in the mud & I fell in the water – it was too deep for me and I remember bobbing up & down a few times. At one point, I had my eyes open & was looking at the sun as I went up and down struggling to breathe at the same time. I realized at that moment that if I went down one more time that I wasn’t coming back up. I reached out my hand to my three year old sister. As soon as our hands touched we both got an electric shock. It seems like I can’t remember what happened next but somehow my little sister managed to drag me out of the water. The last thing I remember is dumping water out of my little rubber boots and crying my eyes out. It was only when my sister & I were adults did we realize the nature of the situation – I don’t know how my sister was able to save me. To this day my sister will not go near water and she never did learn how to swim as a child or adult. I know that someone was there to help us – an angel.

Those voices are real! You used to hear them quite clearly when you were a child. Somewhere along the way you learned that it was all pretend. At the same time, you knew what you heard or even felt was real. Deep down inside you know the truth. They stopped because you stopped them. Allow yourself to hear the voices again; those of angels, of your higher self and God. The only pretending now is that they are not real. Ask Spirit for help and hear the answers. Listen. Really listen.
The answers come to you in quiet moments after you’ve asked for assistance out of frustration. They come after you’ve busied yourself with some other thought. Sometimes your answers come in forms of inspiration and other times it takes a book falling off the shelf, and bopping you over the head, for you to finally read it. Sometimes Heaven will pick things up and move them to new locations to get your attention. They may even leave you a penny or a feather, whatever tickles you.
Signs come in all kinds of manners. Whether we listen or not is our truth. Are you being true “to youâ€, by listening and allowing these answers to be heard? Take time out today to quiet your mind. Get beyond the ticking of the clock and ask your angels and God what it is that they want you to know “nowâ€. Pay attention to the images, symbols and messages that come to you. They are all important. They may be clues to the puzzle that you have been playing with. Listening and opening up these channels can only bring you closer to your true self and that self is worth hearing. It’s been speaking to you since you were born.

Your angels, guides and past loved ones all want to help you. They are relieved when you ask for help, as they are bound by the law of Free Will not to help you unless you ask.
On top of that they can only help, to a certain degree, extending out only when you ask SPECIFICALLY for what you want. In a nut shell, the law of Free Will basically means, You can be as happy or as miserable as you like and we can’t do anything about it until you ask! Sorry for the inconvenience. Come back again when you really want help! As brutal as it sounds, I have had endless readings where I had to tell the loved ones on earth to ask for help or those in Heaven could not help them. God himself cannot help us unless we ask specifically.
I remember taking a CPR course years ago and Free Will was one of the first basic rules that they taught us. They said to make sure that the person you are about to help wants the help in the first place. Get the verbal consent. They said we are here to help them, not to play God. Thinking back, I didn’t realize how important those words were until now. What if they wanted to die, we had to stand back and watch I wondered? In some cases, the answer is yes. For example, refusal of blood transfusions are a controversy with persons of a certain religion and the hospitals even have to sit back and do nothing without consent of family members or the patient themselves. We on earth feel bad, not being able to help. Imagine being from above and seeing an even larger picture and not being able to do anything because of your stubbornness.
Many of us don’t believe that we deserve the help from above. We are afraid to ask and feel that when we do ask that we are bothering our past loved ones or God himself. We get frustrated because we asked in the past and nothing came of it and gave up asking feeling unworthy and secretly mistrusting Universal Wisdom as a whole. It is important that you get clear on what you really want and that way there will be less confusion. Some give me prayers I have found not answered in my own personal experience, but when I humbly came from a balanced state and asked for help in certain areas of my life I found that help always came.
1. What? Be very specific when you ask for what you want. If you are searching for a soulmate then state it and be specific about what you want them to be like. I want him to play guitar, for example. But they may have him play electrical guitar and you wanted acoustic. You later may be frustrated with your guides and angels and they will turn and say what did you expect? I gave you what you asked for and you gave me no more specifics than a guitar. Be specific and detailed.
2. Reasons. When you start giving reasons for every item that you asked for then you will find more and more whats.
3. Believe. You need to believe. You need to believe you deserve it most importantly and write all of those reasons why you believe you deserve it down.
4. Dont compromise. It’s is important that you dont compromise with yourself and make your list smaller just because.
You may not get everything you asked for. However, you never know, you could even get better. I often will say, This is what I want or something better. Who is to say that what I am asking for is the right thing? If it comes, I trust that it is right and if it doesn’t I trust that my angels and guides can see better than me and because I handed it up to them, my Free Will and often stubbornness did not for once get in the way of my true happiness.
Ask for what you want and they will bring you what you need.

A compliment is something said to express praise and or approval. It is a gesture of respect or saying that you honour something about someone. It could be said or something that you do to show honour or to express respect and good wishes to someone. Compliments are a way of looking at someone‘s strengths, a way of noticing all the little things that otherwise are only noticed and appreciated at the beginning of the relationship and often forgotten. Don‘t forget to compliment your honey today. If you don‘t have a honey yet then say something nice to someone you love and bathe in the joy you give to them.
Your my baby and I don’t mean maybe!
That is still my Dad’s favourite compliment to my mom and she still beams from ear to ear when she hears it.

I had a chance to interview Sue Murphy on one of my many trips to Prince Edward Island. She experienced an out of body experience where you could say she died and came back again. While many would hide this experience and keep it to themselves, Sue was relaxed and eager to share. The priest she saw may have been Azrael, the angel of death, who often helps our past loved ones cross over. 
Her choice of, Do you want to live or do you want to die is a lesson for us all as we all have a choice. If we choose to live, what are we here for? I believe that experiences like this are blessings and we should all learn from Sues experience. We are all here for a purpose. Big or small, we are all important and should embrace life and not take it for granted. Light, Love. Peace, Trust, Wisdom, Harmony, Abundance… Kimspirational
Sue’s Story
I was in Halifax and had a major back surgery. After the 2nd day or so of the surgery I had a low blood count. I lost a lot of blood during the surgery. They were surprised at the amount of blood loss and they had to cauterize the veins. I was in a weakened state, my blood pressure bottomed out and I Had to have blood transfusions.
To me, my experience was that I went to the light. It was a beautiful iridescent light, like a cyclone that engulfed me. I was totally wrapped in it. It seemed to me that I was there in the light for a while. More than minutes. I cant express the time. It appeared to me that there was a priest there with the long black robe and the white sultan. He was carrying the incense and it was as if he was using this to carry the spirits. He had it in his hand but also it was like he was offering the Eucharist. So he had the chalice and the Eucharist at the same time.
When I was in that light, it was a choice. Do I want to go further or do I want to come back. I remember fighting to come back. I wasnt ready to be there yet. I just felt a struggle where I had to use all my strength to come into reality, is the only way I can put it. I don’t know why but I have questioned since why I came back and what I have yet to finish. I don’t dwell on it but in the back of my mind, its there from time to time.
They say sometimes that these experiences are the real thing and sometimes its your imagination. They say that if that type of image stays with you or that type of experience stays with you that it was a real experience and not just your imagination.
I questioned my daughter afterwards and asked if there was a priest present and she said no there had not been a priest.
From the experience I got that i wanted to live more than I wanted to die. Ive always been a spiritual person and always believed in God. He was part of my life, my companion, my helper. I think this experience did not necessarily bring me closer to God and it didn’t necessarily reaffirm it for me. I didn’t need that. However, it made me know that there is an afterlife, though.
This experience left me with questions. What does he want me to do? I know that I’m here for a purpose. I think probably to be a really great Bowen Practitioner. I practice out of Health Within Holistic Center, at 500 B Queen Street in Charlottetown, P.E.I. I am meant to help who I can. Its a hands on physical therapy that activates the nerve ending in the belly of the muscle. The sequence of procedures helps the body to realign itself. Therefore minimizing a persons pain levels. I know that I am here to help people rid their pain, to help them to the optimum level of health for that person.

My mother had an experience of going into light too. She said it was a beautiful and peaceful experience and she didn’t want to come back. We think it was her heart problem that made it happen and her pace maker shocked her to come back. Dad died 10 years previous to that and she wanted to be with him. She lived to be 87 though. That was when Mom was 60.
